How Was Salted Caramel Invented?

Word is, salted caramel was first made by French chocolatier Henri Le Roux, with Gordon Ramsay later making it famous in the UK. And while we can't claim to have invented salted caramel, Gü’s first salted caramel recipe was launched way back in 2004. In 2015 our Head Chef Fred Ponnavoy's pioneered our Salted Caramel Cheesecake.
